The NACE First-Destination Survey initiative provides for collecting, analyzing, and reporting outcomes for college graduates on a national scale. Based on standards and protocols developed by a team of career services practitioners, this survey features outcomes for associate- and bachelor’s-degree graduates nationally and regionally; outcomes are also available by Carnegie Classification.

The NACE First-Destination Surveys Task Force developed standards and protocols for colleges and universities to use in collecting and reporting graduating student career outcomes data. Developed by practitioners for practitioners, the standards and protocols also reflect feedback provided during the public comment period by more than career services results released: Fall The Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education Longitudinal survey captures information about the activities and perspectives of graduates three and a half years after they completed their studies.

Our report analyses theresponses we received to the winter /17 survey which contacted /13 leavers. The first release of data on the destinations of leavers for the academic year /16 shows that 15% of leavers were in further study in /16, an increase from 13% in last year’s figures.

Of full-time first degree leavers, 65% were employed in the UK, of whom 71% were in posts classified as professional employment.
